Established in 1996 Forrest Fresh Foods Limited in Rochdale, Lancashire, has been proudly run with the same entrepreneurship, inspiration and mission, as it was from day one when John and Nichola Forrest first brought it to life.

Still family-run to this day, Forrest Fresh Foods can now proudly claim the mantle of being one of the largest independent omnichannel wholesalers in the country boasting over 3,500 customers across the globe.

Founded by Nichola and John Forrest in 1996, our business had humble beginnings as a supplier of potatoes and fresh produce to fish and chip shops and fast-food outlets in the Northwest of England. Still headquartered in Rochdale, our new warehouse still serves as the cornerstone of our operations today.

Only 2 years after our incorporation, our growth trajectory was remarkable, achieving £1 million turnover in 1998. This milestone coincided with another, diversification into new markets and categories. Notably, we expanded our product offering to include soft drinks and takeaway packaging, marking the beginning of our journey towards becoming the distinguished omni-channel and international wholesaler we are today.

In 2011, a significant milestone was achieved with the establishment of a direct supply account with Coca-Cola and shortly thereafter, in 2014, a direct supply account with Britvic Soft Drinks was also secured. With the support our supply partners, the company achieved remarkable financial growth, surpassing £25 million turnover in 2016.

Today, Forrest stands as a testament to our commitment to quality, entrepreneurship, and enduring success. In 2023, Forrest Fresh Foods achieved a turnover of £75 million and continuously drives towards onward growth.
